Evas 5 Favs \\ February 2016

Der Februar ist so ein typischer Übergangsmonat. Nehmen wir zum Beispiel das Wetter: Es ist nicht mehr Winter aber auch noch nicht Frühling. Aber auch im Modehandel: die letzten ausgesuchten Sale Klamotten hängen noch in den Läden aber die wirklich tolle inspirierenden Frühlingsteilchen eben auch noch nicht. Es heißt ja immer, der April weiß nicht was er will, ich finde das der Februar es noch viel weniger weiß, besonders dieses Jahr. Da gab es am Samstag noch einen regelrechten Schneesturm und am Tag darauf über 10 Grad. Was soll man denn da nur anziehen? Meine Begleiter durch den Februar sind:

Dank des ganzen Temperatur Auf und Abs rollte eine regelrechte Erkältungswelle durch das Büro. Das „Kraftpaket“ des Berliner Unternehmens Proviant enthält alles was der Körper benötigt um die Abwehrkräfte zu stärken Ein Früchtesmoothie mit Orangen, Äpfel, Bananen, Zitrone, Ingwer und Macapflanze. Gerade die letzte Zutat, die auch Peru-Ginseng genannt wird fördert das Immunsystem immens. Und bisher hat mich die Grippe auch verschont :)

Thanks to the unsure temperature it rolled a cold wave through the office. The " powerhouse" of the Berlin company contains everything the body needs to strengthen the defenses. A fruit smoothie with oranges, apples, bananas, lemon, ginger and Macaplant. Especially the last ingredient, which is also called Peruvian Ginseng boost the immune system immensely. And so far I do not get the flu :)

Die Ohrringe vom New Yorker Label Jades & Jasper sind wie der Februar: unentschlossen. Sie sind nicht zu unscheinbar klein, aber auch nicht zu protzig groß. Nicht zu bunt, aber auch nicht zu monoton. Nicht zu clean, aber auch nicht zu avantgardistisch. Eine schöne Mischung und daher echte Allround-Talente.

The earrings from the New Yorker label Jades & Jasper are like the February: incertain. They are not too unassuming small, but not too showy large. Not too colorful, but not too monotonous. Not too clean, but also not too avant-garde. A nice mix and therefore real all-rounders.

Bisher war der „good-to-go“ Topcoat von essie mein favourit in Sachen schnelltrocknender Überlack. Aber der Quick try von Anny ist noch etwas besser. Selbst wenn der Farblack darunter noch flüssig ist, versiegelt er den Lack in nicht mal einer Minute. Selbst eine dicke Nagellackschicht trocknet unglaublich schnell und schützt die Farbe vor schnellen abblättern.

So far, the "good -to-go" Topcoat from essie was my favourit of quick-drying top coats. But the quick try of Anny is a little better. Even if the color paint underneath is still liquid, he sealed the paint in less than one minute. Even a thick nail polish coating dries incredibly fast and protects the paint against rapid flaking.

Die Klammer macht aus jedem einfachen Pferdeschwanz einen Eyecatcher. Zuerst werden die Haare mit dem schwarzen Band zusammengebunden und dannach mit der goldenen Klammer „umhüllt“. So ist der schwarze Haargummi nicht mehr sichtbar und die Haare fallen auch etwas höher und sind stabiler.

Dieser Pulli ist ein Urlaubsmitbringsel. Ihr mögt es zwar nicht glauben, aber ich habe diesen Rollkragen-Pulli im Juni 2015 bei über 30 Grad in Singapur auf der Orchard Road gekauft. Ich weiß gar nicht mehr was mich dazu bewegt hat mitten im Hochsommer einen Rolli zu kaufen, aber er ist in diesem Winter zu einem echten everyday darling aufgestiegen. Ob zum Faltenrock oder zur Highwaist Jeans, der figurbetonte, verkürzte Rolli kann man zu fast allem tragen.

This sweater is a holiday souvenirs. You may not believe it, but I have bought this turtleneck sweatshirt in June 2015, with more than 30 degrees in Singapore on the Orchard Road. I can not remember what inspired me to buy a turtleneck in the middle of summer, but it wents up this winter to a real everyday darling. Whether a pleated skirt or Highwaist jeans, the figure-hugging, cropped turtleneck can be worn with almost anything.
